Project funded under the PNRR, by the European Union NextGenerationEU, as part of the PNRR, Mission 1 “Digitization, Innovation, Competitiveness, Culture and Tourism,” Component 3 “Tourism and Culture 4.0,” “Investment 2.1: “Village Attractiveness” – Line A – “Pilot projects for the cultural, social and economic regeneration of villages at risk of abandonment and neglect.”

Nestled between the walls of Castello di Gorizia and the outer walls of the Borgo is the so-called “Milizie Courtyard.” The goal of the project is to make the courtyard spaces available to the public again through the restoration of the castle’s perimeter walls, the landscaping of green areas and the construction of a new pavilion intended to host cultural events.
